In the Flow

memories flash,
silver fish in the shallows
river-cold then gone

Notes: Deep in County Clare, Ireland, flows the River Fergus. After cutting Ennis in two, it dwindles into the sea. This photograph reminds me of the burren, ruined castles and high cliffs of Moher, all of which we crammed into one day. My daughter is already asking to return.
