clouds on Mount Greylock,
ever-changing layers of
dark and light

Notes: No matter how dark the clouds may be overhead, the light is still shining somewhere on this green earth. It’s magic how green mountains are up close but blue in the distance. Some would say it’s physics — the way our eyes perceive light — yet when we don’t examine it too closely, it seems magical.
My day job is busy. I’m posting my photos and poems out of seasonal order. I find that even after time passes, I still remember the moment. In this one, as I took the photo, I was thinking about how the rain overhead didn’t mean that the day wasn’t full of light.
What a gorgeous view 💜

I see the light, and that is what keeps us going. no worries about when you post, pictures are snapshots of time, and don’t have to be recent.

I see layers of light in the sky with interesting cloud formations daily. And each brings out the oohs and aahs. Your view brings out the oohs and aahs X 10. Really beautiful!

Being up high is a special view, where the clouds seem so close. I’m glad you enjoy the light as well.
