lonely stretches
of shorn grass except high up,
birds

Notes: In early October, the only life on the golf course links were birds overhead. Despite a gray haze, the Pacific Ocean was deep blue. I’ve observed that to be a good photographer requires quiet and patience. Not strengths of mine. Photography is a form of meditation. Or frustration. Many pictures, changes in angles and moved locations later, and I only caught one bird in a photograph. Or is that a dust speck?
How’s the house hunting coming?

The ground looks as though it is moving somewhat in this image, Brenda. The whole affect is quite mesmerizing!

Yes. Being still. Something that requires practice.

Photography is like Zen, being in the moment.
