trembling pink stars
cause me to pause,
thankful

Notes: I’m grateful for my garden. For warm days, bitter tomato scent, promising green fruit, rain, flowers, and dawdling aimless moments. May the magic of summer, a moment of silence, and gratitude lighten your day.
And you look gorgeous with that pink flower you hold to your hair. It’s always reminded me of Janis Joplin!

I was just out in mine this morning — it’s really a patch of giant sunflowers hiding some tomatoes and peppers, and a few colored geraniums in pots on my deck. And I paused — and was thankful.

Is this a picture from your garden!? A lot of work I imagine, but so, so beautiful. And it seems your garden inspires you as well. 🙂

This was from the Cornell Botanical gardens, I believe. 🙂

Gardens provide sustenance of many kinds. I like thinking about your green tomatoes coming along, and their familiar scent.

Me, too. We’ve had so much rain, they are starting to suffer. But they still smell like summer to me.
