dull January
reaches icy majesty,
at sunset

Notes: This photo was from before the snow storm, but I was slow in finding words for it — so I’m posting in February. It was taken from the window of my dentist’s office. I care for and appreciate my dentist, but I’d be delighted to never need to go back!

Watching from the window and dentist visit can push for such intricately and deep words. I am with you. What beautiful words came.

Thanks! I hope you don’t need dental work done anytime soon. It’s been quite an experience.

I may have to give my dentists my house before they are done fixing everything. Sigh.

I have a tricky dentist that has a window that looks out on the beauty nature. A lovely brick wall with a bit of something on it. (Not worth writing a poem about it.) I like your poem and clicked to enlarge. I think I saw a little bird sitting by a fence post. Maybe. Maybe not. 😉

Many of our birds don’t migrate. Sometimes you get to see a cardinal in the snow. So gorgeous.

I see a lot of mockingbirds. I didn’t realize there were so many different types. Also road runners scurry around.

Road runners look starved to me. I see them in Palm Desert sometimes, when I’m visiting.

Probably all that exercise they get running. I need to be doing that. ;(
