Even in the clouds,
I see paths
drawing me
toward them.

Notes: A little ditty for those of us who are isolated and imagining our escapes — written in reaction to a prompt on Reflections on the Teche, a fellow poet’s site, for a different photo, but I had cloud photos on hand of my own. Feel free to get to stop by and check out Margaret Simon’s wonderful website, written by her from her location on the Bayou Teche in New Iberia, Louisiana, far from the Vermont mountains in my photo.
A beautiful spot to sit and read a book. Thanks

Hahah… Brenda, going for daily walks, for those of us who still can, is a wonderful way to brighten the mood and send those wonderful endorphins surging. 🙂

I am on my way — and have to say you just have a way with picking just the right words for your poems. I read a lot of poetry here, but there’s something about yours that just zings me every time!
