Even grounded
by a virus,
I’m on a journey,
examining inner
signposts
and losing my way
between where I was
and where I want to be.

Notes: I remember being grounded for misbehaving when I was young. I usually deserved it. Now I’m grounded, and I haven’t misbehaved. I don’t remember spending so much time spinning my wheels. Social Media wasn’t a thing. Am I the only one frustrated by all the rules, passwords, security questions, and requests to click all the boxes with crosswalks, all while dodging survey pop-ups? None of this was a thing. But at least we can stream movies.
i’m not a tech person so it’s a gift and a curse for me, but i consider it more of a great gift at this point

Yes, our economy has a better chance of surviving than it would have 50 years ago.

Profound – at least we now know why we are grounded – I didn’t always 🙂
