is a caterwaul tale
told to the moon
in a 12-bar snarl
blues progression,
a soulful session,
a jazzy digression
lamenting fickle fate –
a human who’s late.

SIX—BUT ONLY FOUR AT ANY ONE TIME! Our last died around five years ago. 😦 Our being prone to infection…from things like cat scratches….

I was allergic, and would always have respiratory problems when I had a cat. I miss it, though.
