Notes: Here’s a playful rhyming haiku. I’ll call it a rhyme-ku. Still strangled by my to-do-list python, which grows longer hourly. Happy Poetry Friday! Thanks for hosting to Matt Forrest Esenwine, author of the recent, rhyming, well-received picture book, Flashlight Night. Congrats again, Matt! Surf by Matt’s website to catch the poetry wave.

  1. AHHH – CHOO! I bumped into a large patch of yellow flowers in an alley today. I get sneezes from whatever they are. I thought of you, today. I found a shimmery pale pink stretch velvet. … very fairy. Now, do I do a pastel rainbow, or a symphony of pinks to go with it? πŸ˜€

    • I had such an allergy reaction in the petrified forest, which has lush live oak trees. They are my bane. But I have to visit anyway. What a beautiful place. Redwoods don’t seem to bother me. Just live oaks. It’s weird.
