Red dragon, hidden on a green stalk,
Do you enjoy the cool rain?
You must bank your fires, release your heat,
To embrace your opposite.
Imagination spirals in the red,
Peace is possible for all.

Living with my hubby and two boys, I often see them riding their anger dragons, and becoming peaceful along the way. Isn’t that a great process?

Sorta. I’m still coming to terms with it. I’m learning though. Anger is sorta icky… but necessary. I suppose.

This is how I look at it — feeling angry is part of life. Someone else feeling angry is part of life. How they act is the part you can tinker with. They get to feel however they want, their behavior has to stay within certain limits. That’s what I tell my boys. It’s okay to be angry. You just can’t use that anger to hurt someone. Mostly we are peaceful, though.
