sunset unfolds
one still summer night,
and restores my mood

Notes: My family had been house hunting in Sudbury, Massachusetts. One evening, we pulled over to find a nearby restaurant on our phones. Under the darkening sky, we looked up to see these magnificent layers of light and color. The sky was infinite and more beautiful than our tiny screens or this picture can convey. Later, I enjoyed French onion soup at the Wayside Inn, but we ultimately decided Sudbury was not to be our new town. I hope to blog more once we settle down again, and I hope for more gorgeous sunsets. Are you undergoing any big changes?

Hope you find the perfect new home soon. It can be fun looking, when suddenly, you walk into the place you know you were meant to be all along.

I hope you settle well. Our biggest recent change is that our granddaughter, our American grandson-in-law, and our great-granddaughter will be living with us for a couple of years – that means we won’t have to move ourselves 🙂

That will be a big change! Wishing all of you the very best as you settle in. We have a lot of work in front of us, packing and clearing spaces, don’t we?

It has been fun seeing houses and having so many open paths in front of us. I did miss my blogging friends.

How about Douglas-? Close to major highways, great country atmosphere, close to several hospitals and metropolitan areas like Providence R>I>, Worcester, MA, with Boston not too far away! 😀 We’ve been by the Wayside Inn a number of times in either direction but never stopped there. Swanky country place, eh? Missed your haiku and haibuns on sunsets, garden wonders and the like! Have done a few, but you are the real Master! ❤

Hi Jonathan, we didn’t get to Douglas, but Hopkinton seems likely. Hope you and your family are doing well!

Hopkinton is a nice town, too. But Douglas has a State Forest….oh well…it’s also where we live. 😀
