Hidden in the shadows,
afraid to move outside our comfort zones,
it’s easy to forget we can fly.

Notes: I had hoped that 2020 would be a year of change. New decade, new work. I had hoped for better, but the change we have seen way surpasses what I could have imagined. It’s been a tough year for me so far with deaths, injuries and surgery, but I’m still finding magic. Time for art. Time for poetry. Time for hope.
Time for gratitude. I appreciate how much everyone cares about each other, in this troubling time. I honor those fundraising for health care workers. I send out thanks to all the health care workers who are on the front lines of this virus as well as those essential workers who are keeping us well supplied and given important news. And thanks to everyone staying home. Stay safe.

Keep up the poetry i really look forward to it. We all help our community in our own way. Not all of us can be front line but thank goodness for them.
