What do storms and library books have in common?
When winter’s late arriving,
storms are OVERDUE.

Notes: We’re socked in, awaiting snow and preparing for my daughter’s sleepover birthday party. A tent in the living room, unicorn plates, balloons of all colors and sleds… The last snow is still on the ground. It feels more like January than March, but we’ll take it, even as late as it is. Because my daughter has been wishing to go sledding, and on her birthday weekend, her wish is coming true.

Sounds great! 🙂 We enjoyed watching the wonders crafted by another snowfall through the warmth of the window pane.

Thanks, Holly. It’s an older photograph. I’m running out of storage space, so I’m reusing photos where I can to slow down the need to purchase extra storage space.

They had a fun party. My kids then elected to move the tent to the basement and keep it up, so my older boys could play in it, too. 🙂

Definitely staying home today. Sadly, I still have to work, though. 🙂

I prefer to go into the office, but I have a sore back lately. I hope I wake up with it gone one day soon.

I wish I could have sent some of our snow to your daughter throughout this long and never ending winter. Great poem.

LOL She would have been glad of it. Getting to take her birthday sleepover guests sledding was a good treat for her. And now it’s snowing again. Winter finally came through.
