scattered fall seeds
are counting the days till spring,
like me

Notes: This photograph is of the money plant, or Lunaria, which was brought to the New World on the Mayflower, apparently. The seeds might be covered in soil, fallen leaves, acorn shells, snow, rain and dust, but they will know when to grow.

Happy Poetry Friday and thanks to Miss Rumphius Effect for hosting!
