snow doesn’t stick
buds burst, robins return
it’s spring

Notes: Winter can’t quite let go. April is anointing us with sleet, hail, snow and freezing rain. The only thing we can think to do is grow. Greener, leaner but not meaner.
Winter’s hanging on here in the UK too Brenda. The weather has been mostly wet and dull. The bulbs are flowering now bit everything is late. Lovely photo. Enjoy spring when it unfolds! 😉🙏

Thanks. The bulbs here are just starting to burst, snowdrops and scilla. Daffodils are a long way off.

From what I read, winter is indeed not letting go. Global warming has affected the norm. It is sad if our next generation does not do their bit to save the earth. Winter may indeed be perennial in half the world or summer heat refuses to let up in other half😲

The earth will still spin, but the weather is getting strange.

Only a very few things are blooming. I hope they don’t suffer for it.

The few flowers that have blossomed around here are miserable looking. 😦
