Punch of peach,
Late summer bloom,
Labored year round,
For this shining moment
At the end of summer.

Happy Labor Day to all those in the United States!!
Note: This bloom is a daylily of a most unusual shade. It looks like a rose, doesn’t it?
Wonderful post! I love how daylilies and peonies can look just as spectacular as any rose π x

So gorgeous and I love peach in my clothes, in my decorating and in my bouquets! You caught it just exactly in the right sunshine and details, too!

Peach is a wonderfully flattering color. I was so impressed by this daylily, blooming so late in August, and so full like a rose. I will have to look for it in the nurseries. π

It is like a rose! You are so right with this comparison. I can hardly believe it is a daylily. I almost could see it being a carnation or another kind of flower. It is definitely beautiful! Smiles and a hug for this.

Are the winters harsh where you live?

Yes, New England is iffy at any time of year, but winters can be icy, gray stretches of cold windiness. π

Wind is not our friend. It makes my ears hurt. It might get cold here in January or February. What you have to do see is come down here to the beach with all the other “snowbirds” π
