Something Blue

Blue berries

Remember the magic:
When you look closely,
What was hidden
Is found.
Something small
Can give you wings.
What was sad
Can give you strength.
What stole your voice
Can make you sing.
Remember the magic.

This poem is dedicated to Ms. Vee, who is a fellow phoenix, a bird reborn from flames.

  2. I love this one Brenda, so energising!!! And the last five lines really give a lost soul a lot of hope.

    ‘What was sad
    Can give you strength.
    What stole your voice
    Can make you sing.
    Remember the magic.’

    This should be song! 😀

  3. I enjoyed Belissa, her adventures are not scary, she is at home in her woods. I also enjoyed this one, with the special messages, Brenda. I am sure my favorite berry, with its sweet yet slightly tart flavor, reminds me of life, it is not all sweet nor too tart, it can be how we make it: Just right! Smiles, Robin
