spring is certain
when squirrels chase each other in
an apple-scented breeze

Notes: The picture’s a bit blurry because squirrels made the branches bounce and were gone before my camera caught them.
Writing Tips: Find time. Sundays are my main writing days since I started working full-time. Today I’m working on a story about a thieving kangaroo. Find other writers. I had great input from fellow critiquers. Being part of a writing community makes all the difference, here on my blog and at the Writers Loft. Thanks to all who read and comment!
How true about those mischevious squirrels–I like the luscious pic despite the distraction they caused and your scent-filled poem!

Thanks, Michelle. I found my way into the moment with the footsteps left behind.

Those squirrels are a tad elusive. “An Apple Scented breeze” is a beautiful and evocative image of Spring.

Thanks. It is hard to get a good photo with telephoto lenses.

I’ve been looking for signs that spring is certain. The temp keeps dropping back into the 30s & 40s.
