Yes, I think so. Still have too high a word count. That is my most difficult thing — cutting to an arbitrary number. Sigh.

Lovely haiku! I love late blooms, makes summer feel like it will be here forever 🙂 August blooms are my favourite only because they go onto September and makes entry into fall so much nicer.

August blooms are glorious, especially with the backdrop of the changing leaves. So bittersweet, unlike spring’s blooms.

I think I love this time of year most because my daughter was born Aug 31st and every year when she was little we would take a photo of her among the flowers that were at their fullest…so pretty.
