Hi, I like your Haiku.
I tried to translate it to German, it is also an interpretation.

Duft steigt auf wie Hoffnung
Klänge im Wind

Thanks, Michelle. It’s hard to find time for writing now that my kids are home for the summer. But I’m eking out a few posts.

By the way, I nominated your blog for the Mystery Blogger Award, but there’s no obligation to participate. Have a great day!

Thanks, I appreciate being nominated very much. I stopped doing awards when I started writing novels and submitting to agents. It was too time consuming, but I still appreciate the thought and wish you much success.

My older granddaughter and I, today, walked through the neighborhood and stopped to smell the roses, “music on the wind”. Perfect, Brenda.

I love your haiku just the way it is. Whenever I’m short on time, I will try to squeeze out a haiku, but mine oftentimes feel flat and dull–I’ve got the syllables down, but not the feel quite yet. I think you did a fantastic job!

I think that your poem is perfect just as it is. Your photograph made me so envious – all my roses were destroyed by beetles when we were away this June 😦

You can’t be despairing in the presence of such roses. 🙂

Gasp! That photo is stunning! I love it so much….it took me a while to scroll down to the words which, of course, pair beautifully with the petals singing. Another winner, Brenda.
