Notes: Spring is coming. I’m going in circles, not finishing anything, but daylight is longer than a month ago. January has been freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw. Just like February used to be. I’m enjoying the thaws. But I worry about the warming.

Not going in circles forever! I have been noticing the light, too. It gives me some oooomph that I’ve been missing. I wish I could take a rest from my day jobs to just write in this time. Alas, I’m stuck with early mornings and late nights. They have become my writing friends.

I took a picture of something quite similar when I was in New York. Do you know what they are? (I tried to share my image, but wasn’t able to do so–rats!)

Maybe you should write a poem for yours. I’m not sure what they are. Not chestnut. They were too large for dogwood. I could look it up, but I’m too tired.
