To the drooling snow monster,
who swallowed my thoughts of spring whole,
the sun will be coming for you,
in a month or two.
A few budding artists were inspired to draw their own snow monsters:

LOL, it was a bit frivolous, but the winter does seem a bit monstrous this year.

That image of the snow monster was excellent! Drooling teeth with icicles! The addition with children’s drawings, always mean so much to me, Brenda. Their little hands creating their own monsters to gobble up the snow monster, so creative and sweet! They are treasures to share with us!

I am warmed by the idea that other people can use my ideas to read a story and draw with their kids. Those are the special memories I have of my kids, and it’s not always easy to set aside phones, computers and books, and make time to just interact with kids. I’m so happy to have been part of that happening. 🙂 Cheers, Brenda

Ha! But it’s going to be a long couple of months . . . And last year, winter hung around the Twin Cities until May . . .

I had to get down really low on the wet sidewalk to get it, but the icicles really looked like fangs. LOL

Big, big huge smile. Could also be because I wasn’t needed …and am safe again at home in my own burrow!
There was only a smattering of sun today. The sun looked like the moon when covered with clouds.
I finally (now that I’m home again…) put up a bird feeder. Now I just have to wait to see when the birds will find it…

Yipes! Someone I know might have to sit a federal grand jury on jury duty, an 18 month appointment, once a week, no vacations!! I hope he gets out of it or he is going to be horribly grouchy!

Only once a week for 18 months – odd.
I was only called for a possible three day stint.
But I was also told I might have to go to another location.
Thankfully my location was home!
Move over Oscar! I hope the best for your someone.
