butterfly wisdom:
bask, stretch, play, nibble,
daydream

Notes: Magic Wings in Western MA was aflutter and aflame with every shade of butterfly. Hope you’ve been making magical memories wherever you’ve perched lately. Find some time to play and daydream.

School starts so early for you there. How is your new job?

Wow yes it sure does! Poor kiddos have to go in this hot box in Oklahoma! 🙂 My new job is a huge blessing! I’m so thankful! Yay! xxx

Yay for our blessings. 🙂 Mine is helping me fix up my house, relieve the pressure on my husband and solidify my second’s path to college. Hard to complain when you take time to count the blessings.

Planted a bee and butterfly garden this summer. The butterflies are showing up but I’m alarmed that the bees really aren’t . . . love this photo.

Bees love my lavender and rosemary flowers. And the butterflies like my vegetable greens. especially the bok choy. I have to keep hardware cages around them– except for the bok choy. Gotta keep some neighborly bond with them.

Planted French lavender a few years ago but pick up pulled out by accident and I had a fall cleanup done. Maybe I’ll have to try again. The bees aren’t even coming to the bee balm. I’m really worried that we are just decimating their populations.

Yes, it’s troubling about the bees. I hope that they will rebound, stronger than ever.

The bunnies, wild turkeys and powdery mildew made gardening for veggies too hard, but I still grow herbs. My local peppermint smells amazing every spring when it blooms.

You’re right. There haven’t been as many bees this summer. I’m glad the butterflies found you.

I actually just got back in from taking photos down by the river 🙂 Once school starts, I’ll be on my way out the door by now! Eek!

I did too much tidying and not enough writing, but I found my missing critique notes. Yay! And I have to leave for work in 5 minutes! Eeek!
