despite a stiff wind
green blankets the brown,
in heart-stopping blooms

Notes: Happy Mother’s Day! While it may be storming in my corner of the world, green blooms hang on with bounces that makes the stiff wind and slanting rain look fun.

It is getting green out there – and it’s so pretty. That’s a great photo, Brenda!

Thanks for the positive perspective. I keep telling myself to notice how green it’s getting, but the unrelenting cloud cover and rain are still getting me a bit down. I’m hoping for a string of sunny days!
