anticipating,
the frisson of the unknown,
is better than knowing

Notes: Isn’t the best part of a present the excitement of not knowing what’s inside?
Writing Tip: That excitement is what writers should tap when crafting stories. And the ending should be like opening the package and finding what you most want inside.
Happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow! I hope you are enjoying the anticipation of the holiday.
What a truth you have spoken in a few words!
It was a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Hope yours was, too!

Yes, we had fun, treats and hugs. And squabbling, but I know how to appreciate that, too. 😉

Thanks! My hubby actually gave me flowers early, and I found I was disappointed to not have the two extra days to anticipate. How surprising that was. But I do love the flowers, whenever they come.

What a treat to see you stop by and have a link to visit you. 🙂 And Resa and Gigi are at the party, too. What fun!

“Frisson” is an awesome word! I have to think more about whether anticipating is better than knowing, but I can certainly agree that anticipation can enhance enjoyment!
