Notes: This is a visual haiku, or a picture that suggests something that is missing. Can you identify something missing? For me, it was knowing who put the apple there.
I haven’t put up any visual haiku in a while, but here are a tour of the seasons from winter, autumn, summer and spring.

Whoever is going to come and eat the apple is missing–it’s waiting for someone, some critter, or maybe a cup of tea is going to join the apple first–fun haiku Brenda, thanks!

I searched on Twitter for #therebeflowers but I couldn’t find it. I didn’t see anything under #haiku either. I suppose it must be insta-gram, but I don’t get on there much.

What an intriguing idea–I’d never heard of a visual haiku! I’ll have to check out your others when I can do so in a leisurely fashion. Thanks for sharing!

I was very disappointed when I realized someone had thought of it before me. Made me think there are no truly new ideas in the world… 🙂

I wonder about any small creatures that may have hidden when the apple was placed, ready to pounce on that apple. Interesting, Brenda.

i think it was left as a gift for the mushroom fairies. perhaps by a kindly visitor to the woods.
