I am thankful for life in a beautiful place, with warm sunshine today after yesterday’s torrential downpour, which made a 2-hour drive through Provence much less enjoyable than it might have been!

Having to drive through a torrential downpour is sad business with my aging eyes and old windshield wipers. It’s the perfect time for a roofed porch and a hot beverage.
