This poem plays with the words bank, withdrawal and deposit, comparing a clump of flowers to a bank. Does the analogy work?

Thanks for visiting, Catherine. I have coneflowers in my garden, but the local gold finches find them and strip the seeds, so mine are always bedraggled. This was at a botanical garden where the flowers are more numerous than the birds. 🙂

A great idea, Carol. I hope I remember to do that. I’m super busy this weekend with an all-day class on Saturday and cleaning out the garage for winter parking. I feel tired just thinking about it.

I love the analogy, Brenda and since one of my granddaughters has become an authority on bees, will save the poem for her. Perhaps because I’m always loving rain because we have so little, I love the idea of it being a deposit! Indeed it is here! Thanks!

Echinacea makes long term deposits, and doesn’t need daily rain. 🙂 I hope your granddaughter likes the analogy. I wasn’t sure if it was good for kids.

My eye is mostly better. Thanks for asking. Only one occasion recently where it flared up and I had to use a hot compress. And that was probably partly the flu.
