harvest
heavy and round,
happiness
in fall, even the apples
have stars

Notes: Hope your Halloween was safe, happy and full of treats. We all ate too much chocolate at my house. Happy Poetry Friday and thanks to Jama at Jama’s Alphabet Soup for hosting!
Yes, I see them! I see the stars!

Lovely photo and poem–and reminds me of cutting apples when my kids were young to find those stars!

I didn’t find those stars until my children showed me. 🙂 Elementary school teachers know amazing things these days…

The apples were delicious. My specialty is the apple crisp, so we need a lot of apples.

Love that ending line! I hope you’re finally feeling better, and I’m impressed (though not surprised) that despite a new job and illness, you’re still writing and sharing. Go, Brenda!

Thanks, Molly. I do feel like my frequency is falling, but I still feel awful. Today, my temp feels high again. This is one nasty virus.

I was just thinking,
about the,
Great Blue Heron,
that made The Holler,
his home.
He consumed all the lizards.
