Notes: I started this collage at the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert this summer. I finished it at home. When I let myself sit down, inhabit the moment and stop worrying about what was coming next or the heat outside, I found surprising things in the layers. Do some art. It doesn’t have to be Picasso or Matisse. It can just be fun.
I received word that my first manuscript is being taken to acquisitions at a publisher. Woo-hoo!! Such an exciting milestone.
