Songs in the quiet places,
the in-between spaces,
where the drone of bees
competes with the breeze,
and a cool patch of shade
beside a clover-scented glade
has the melody I seek
as I contemplate a work week.

Notes: I got the job, and I’ll be returning to full-time employment in less than two weeks. I’ll still post here, as I have time. Many blessings on the happenings in your life, large and small.
Hope you are enjoying your new job, lovely poem and I love the little heart shaped cut out in this bird house.

I’m still hoping to post twice a week. I can write them on the weekend and schedule them, perhaps. I’ll have to see how much energy I have. Thanks for your kind words.

Wonderful news, Brenda. Congratulations. The first week may be a bit daunting but I am sure you will soon be organising your work as beautifully as you organise the words for your poems. 🙂
