tasting colors
toe deep in magic dust,
flying

Notes: I went to see Crazy Rich Asians with my son, and it was a lark. Such beautiful people, all worrying about belonging and being “good enough.” Far simpler to be bees: then summer’s magic dust is all we need. (Even if it does make some sneeze.)
Moment captured in words, beautiful 😊

LOL Yes, pollen does make me sneeze, yet I like imagining that it doesn’t.

Good to hear you enjoyed Crazy Rich Asians. I enjoyed my bees today. They were very busy singing round the hebe flowers. I am sure they would love the sound of your words in their honor. It’s nice to think they can taste colours. 🙂

Simplicity is something that is hard to find nowadays, but it has a beauty that extravagance can never capture. Well done.

I’m reading an interesting book. It really matches what you’re saying: worries attract worrisome situations and we are already good enough, therefore, the comparison with bees works. Bees are workaholics, but they have so much pleasure with blooms and nectar, always among beautiful things. No wonder honey does us good, look where bees get it from!

They share everything, all for the good of the community. We need to give back to our communities — that’s happiness.

It’s fun to imagine being them, but perhaps we are better off being us. Bees don’t get to eat chocolate.

Resources are meant to be shared, as bees do, not hoarded for a vapid few.
