daintily paint the sky
with possibility

Notes: Happy Poetry Friday and thanks to Molly at Nix the Comfort Zone for hosting! So much feels possible in summer. Especially in a garden. May every last summer day be magical.

Sorry I’ve been away so long…! blogging less and responding to newcomers…. Glad to deliberately find my way back! Missed you, too!

Brenda, I love the vibrancy of the summer flowerbed. Your poem shares the positivity of life. I wish every part of life could stand so tall and salute the sky with a positive spirit.

Salvia always seems to be reaching toward the sky. It inspires me, too.

The roses appear to be overseeing the job of painting the sky…and the little flowers (don’t know what they are) just seem to be a little crowd cheering them on! It’s quite a bunch!

I don’t know what those pink flowers are either. From the shape, I would have said giant phlox, but they were too short. Wrong leaf-shape for geraniums. It’s a puzzle.

There’s something about purple that occurs in nature that makes me really happy 🙂

I confess that this very tidy flowerbed is in a botanical garden, not my house. I’m rather more scattered.
