An ocean of thanks
to dads who raise faces
to the dawn, holding
up the sky on broad shoulders,
for their children.

Notes: Happy Father’s Day to the fathers and the ones who love them. My father-in-law is very sick, but I don’t want to imagine the world without his broad shoulders.
I am pleased to invite you to participate in upcoming International Conference on Earth Science and Climate Change that will be held at Zurich, Switzerland on September 6-7th, 2018.

I was happy to read about the conference, and I hope it’s a huge success, especially at re-engaging the US in its work of cleaner oceans and earth. I doubt I have much technical or scientific skill to offer, though. Have a wonderful time.

Prayers 🙏🙏 for a special father. It’s true, some dads have very strong broad shoulders for their family.

Sometimes, that’s all you need is a shoulder to lean into when your head feels too heavy. Luckily, friends and moms help, too.
