The snowdrops bounced back but the crocus plants did poorly here and the daffodils have taken a bashing but show signs of recovery – dare we think Spring!

Stunning … I’m just starting to think about gardening as a relaxing proposition rather than a tedious chore. Where I shall find the time, I am unsure as yet 🙈

Planting is my favorite part, aside from celebrating when things bloom. Pruning is endless. But it’s wonderful to put a bench in a good spot and sit there drinking ice water after a day of edging and shaping.

This morning snow flakes as big as the palm of my hand came sailing down. A delightful event at Christmas, but now??? Beautiful poem! It will cast a spell on winter to make room for Spring, Brenda!
