I like the poem you have written in response to my photo Brenda. The green world can be a great source of revitalization that’s for sure.

One day, I have to come see this enchanted place for myself. Thanks for letting me use a picture. Nothing here is pretty right now — all brown, bare branches and floods.

Floods after all that snow! I hope you and your family are safe.

We are well, dry and snug. And grateful we don’t live right on the coast. They are getting hammered, I’ve heard.

I must check out the US weather. I haven’t looked at any News programs for a few days. Good to know you and your family are well.

No need to know our weather. But I am grateful we are well. We’d gotten out the candles and matches, but we didn’t end up needing them.

Some people love the weather channel. 🙂 We just endured a bomb-cyclone.

That sounds terrible. We had something very similar where I lived some years ago. The high school got reduced to a pile of rubble.

A bomb-cyclone is a storm where the barometer drops a huge amount in a short period of time. The wind was fierce, and brought down trees. I don’t know if any buildings were ruined, except by falling trees, or if isolated tornadoes touched down. Fortunately, our house weathered the storm without trouble.

I finally saw some pictures on TV and looked it up online. It sounds very frightening. I remembered the storm that blew part of the town I lived in to bits was called a micro-burst – a similar occurrence I think but I’m not sure of the science. The weather is certainly serving up some wild and strange events these days. I saw on TV another storm front is expected in your area. I hope people are prepared and it doesn’t do too much damage.

We still have tree branches everywhere. I was grateful it wasn’t snow. What a storm it would have been if our 4 inches of rain turned into 3 feet of snow. Whew!
