A great quote from a great writer on this wonderful post from Susan Dorling. I try to catch those rabbits, but sometimes they hop away from me. I hope they find a home with other writers. Have a magical weekend!
“Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen.”
― John Steinbeck
This was simply divine with a quiet message. 🐇 Ideas need to be lassooed (wrangled) and caught before they can intertwine and develop fully.

Yes. Perhaps they need to live in a burrow and just nibble the grass until the idea feels safe enough to reveal its true nature. 🙂

Your idea is gentle and allows growth and development of a rabbit (idea.)
Mine was like overkill! Looking at my comment I am wondering why I went to this level for little bunnies? They aren’t bulls or cattle!

Playing out the metaphor is just what we writers do. 🙂

A terrific quote worth remembering, especially one from John Steinbeck, who is one of favourite authors!

John Steinbeck was a genius. I’m not sure if he was stable or not. 😉

I thought so, too, Gigi. I love the way the watercolor sky is blue swirls of leaves.

Maybe that’s why it’s hard to keep sight of them. 🙂
