mermaids
fill each shining shell
with sea song
Copyright 2017 Brenda Davis Harsham
Notes: I’m over my NaNoWriMo goal of 30K words, but still writing my final climactic scene. I hope you are having a fun and productive month.
I took this photograph at a small shop opposite the Monterey Aquarium, and I wish I had written down the name. It was full of fairy tale treasures and sea shells.
Beauty that no one could see
I saw it in melody, it’s behind the bee
Seeing you in my blog post of the day
Turned the worse into a happy journey
Thanks for going through my post 🙂 ❤
You really loved flowers, right?

What is Madison magic? Madison, Wisconsin? President Madison?

Now that is one great looking mermaid to adorn any establishment! Very pretty and it has good details on the scales.

Lots more photos from the shop to come. I really should have written it down and given it credit. I was in vacation mode, though.

Perfect! The shot and the poem… fabulous!
Anyway, you could find the shop again, if you went back ! ?
OH! I just finished shooting La Esencia de Titania on a not professional model, but I really like that. Got some great shots.
Will send some after I edit. ❤ ❤

The ocean is such a vast, mysterious place. I’ve always wanted to swim there and belong.

It is somewhat terrifying when we realize that we haven’t even explored it in its entirety. Who knows, maybe there are mermaids out in the depths of the sea

Perhaps. It’s worth a story or two. 🙂

This is a great idea for a fairy tail story of a song in a shell.

How many fairy tales are haiku-length? LOL It’s a challenge writing such tiny tales.

I was thinking of a longer story with more details, but I see your point.

I prefer longer stories, too. But not for a blog post. 🙂
