Thanksgiving

Thankful for art and music,
for time with my family,
words that flow and dance,

sunlight that illuminates
women and men equally,
and a universe that washes

troubles away in
dreams, gravity and
rainbow starlight.

Notes: an extra note of thanks for Thanksgiving weekend. The writing has been going well. I’ve written 28K of my 30K NaNoWriMo goal for November. I haven’t finished yet, but I am hopeful that the end will come together with as much fun and lightness as the first two-thirds did.

    Thank you for your special message. I saw your sweet comment; but have been in and out of hospital with a family member.
    It has been rather upsetting and life changing, but will post about it once things even out for the one in my family who had an injury.
