autumn blooms,
each petal a love note
to seed-stars

Notes: I’m working on a new middle grade manuscript for NaNoWriMo, that’s National Novel Writing Month, for those not in the writing biz. Perforce, my posts may be shorter in November. Stop by TeacherDance for the Poetry Friday round up, if you want to glut on poetry. I hope everyone has a magical weekend!
Please check out my new blog post about relationships! Just started my first post! I love this !!!

Thanks, Robin. I need flowers in my life. Long about February, I have to haunt the floral sections of stores, I am so forlorn.

Love that “seed-stars” in your haiku. And all the best in Nanowrimo. I did it one year–a very good experience.

Good luck with NaNoMo! I sometimes think the short poems are harder to write. Every word counts in this one!

I agree with you. They are like micro-jigsaws, where you have to select only the right piece and move and move until it slots home.

Thanks, Mary Lee! No visits to other poets until the writing is done! Waahh! I hope to manage some visits later today, but writing’s coming first. 🙂

Brenda, that is exciting news. Good luck on your new writing piece. Your poem glows with a different shade of autumn-so lovely. If you want to offer that to Autumn Ablaze, please combine the two into an image poem. I think it will make a bright statement piece.
