Freed,
treed,
high as a bird,
like a rising song,
with a need to climb
ever higher,
a girl can believe,
can succeed,
can belong.

Love this! Girl Power! I designed the costumes for a Disney movie once, the original Cheetah Girls. It was about girl power, and there was a song titled “Girl Power” in it.
This poem may have few words, but it does take us “high as a bird” ⭐

I’m watching it in your honor. Are all the costumes in it by you? Super cool!

Yes, all costumes are by me! Some store bought , and then styled, some made from scratch. Oh, I hope your daughters watch it, too! OMG, I’m so honored! ❤

Three kids, one daughter. 🙂 I’ll see if she wants to. Probably too late tonight…. It will be a break from all the editing. Revising. Telling myself I can do it. I can!! LOL

OH, I would love her to watch it! OMG!
You can do it all, Brenda, just take it a day at a time. Much love, Resa xo

I’ll ask, but once they are teens, they are harder to convince to watch girl movies.

LITTLE GIRLS RULE—ESPECIALLY OVER THEIR LOVING DADDIES!
Little girl, little girl,
Sitting in a tree…

Was filled with glee–

Love the photo of empowerment, Brenda. My girls climbed many ‘trees’ their youth. It’s all in the believing that one can. They are both following their adventurous hearts in adulthood. ❤
