Rabbity! We have a few that pop out along our loooonnng driveway, and I”m always rolling down the windows and warning them to look out for the hawks! Love the pic, the poem, and the peek!
Well Hello there 🙂 Dang ol’ bunners, they are so cute 🙂 I have half a dozen resident rabbits who hop up to my back porch every evening nearly as soon as I get home for slices of apples. Its amazing how they can tell time. Its also amazing how well they have me trained LOL 🙂
Especially in winter. Thats actually when I started doing it, and now …well, who can resist those adorable faces ❤ I also feed the 'neighborhood' cats and the birds! meanwhile, Im surviving on Cheerios LOL 🙂
Look at Australia. Bunnies arrived with no predators. Before long, they were an ecological nightmare. https://www.thoughtco.com/feral-rabbits-in-australia-1434350
Nature seems cruel, but you’re exactly right. It’s balance. We keep messing it up.
TAG, you’re it! Now find me! wonderful what you say in a few words. ❤

Easy to miss the little guy. I knew he was there because he moved. Then he froze, as if sure that not moving would make him invisible. 🙂

Yes. I don’t get traps and I love to see the babies in the spring. I think the coyotes keep the numbers down a bit, though.

big dislike about coyotes being in the city and towns

Yes, they are a menace to small animals. Missing cat posters… Yuck!

oof, there needs to be something done about it, I mean I know we’re in nature’s territory but still

I know they are there, but I’ve never seen one in person. If we didn’t have coyotes, we would have a rabbit problem.

Bunnies. So cute but soooo destructive. I swear, there is nothing they won’t eat to the root!

Yes, I wouldn’t grudge them a leaf of kale, but they eat it right down to the root.
