Trees in bud burst
open, unrehearsed,
wild mint-lemon taste.
X’s and O’s traced
on pale winter skin
by dandelion wind.
Hibernation is over.
We’re ready for clover.

Thanks! I’m happy it’s spring. I planted bulbs, veggies and flowers all day 🙂 My garden is shaping up nicely. Happy Spring to you in Canada.

Thanks, Aquileana! I’m hoping spring comes soon. We once had twenty inches of snow on April Fool’s Day. LOL

I like the sound of ‘dandelion wind’ and the image of ‘x’s and o’s . We’re not quite their yet but it’s wonderful to read about it.

Oh, we aren’t either. Still snow on the ground. I remember the trees blooming in March. In North Carolina! 🙂
