Panda Moon

Shalak Attack's Toronto Panda

Shalak Attack (Artist) Toronto, Canada, Resa McConaghy (Photographer)

Panda dreams in movement, lapping ocean waves,
cartwheeling stars and clouds blooming roses.

Panda dreams in scent, flowers tease like
bamboo leaves, and always rising, is the coffee moon.

Panda dreams in colors, a green itch and a blue tickle spreads
like doubt but mother-purple ties and cries, binds and blinds.

Panda dreams free, slipping knots, unwinding spots,
black is white, white is black and every color dances like fireflies.

I just got a big case of the shivers reading “Panda Moon” by Brenda. This is my 4th read, and it just gets better. Brenda, you are a dear fairy person, and I thank you so much for all your support here during Kids’ Month! ❤

    • I’m so happy you like my poetry, Resa. Your photographs and the street artists inspire and delight. They alter the way I see the world and make new images bubble up. I’ve always been the kind of person to stop in the middle of the street and stare at murals. I’m happy to share that love with you in my words.

  2. ⭐ I love it!!! It is so perfect for Kids’ Month. You must have been raised by fairies. I wouldn’t be surprised if you had wings hidden under your clothes. XOXO
I have 2 posts lined up, that I’ve promised, one later today, one tomorrow. This will be 3rd, on Monday. Brenda, I can’t thank you enough for participating in Kids’s Month!!!
