Accumulation of flakes,
millions of unique crystals soften and transform.
Accumulation of fun,
kids freed by snow romp, stomp and play.
Accumulation of cold,
making February seem longer though it’s shorter.
Accumulation of music,
birds sing, ice pings, trees creak, snowballs thump.

No snow left that I know of. It’s been arctic at night, though. I can feel spring coming. I must be part ground hog. 🙂 Big hugs to you, too!

You make flowers have personalities and fairies become real. Beaches are special but the one with your daughter in the sand is a little fuzzy. May need to read again! Life is very good, full of beauty in nature and family. (Thankful for friends that go w a y back to when I had only 15 followers. . .) xo hugs to you!

Thank you, Brenda. I was a little lacsadaisacle (spelling?) last month, with extra work overtime and need to repair cars; job security! I missed a door post or two. . . Hope your March is full of good times. ❤

Thanks very much for such caring comments. I like the seven dwarves song in your version, Brenda. Seems we used to chat right as I was getting ready for bed. 🙂

I am trying hard to get to bed at a decent hour these days. My daughter’s birthday is taking up all my time! As it should be. 🙂

Congratulations on your blog’s anniversary, Brenda. Your post made me long for snow — we’ve had a warm, warm winter in Maryland. 70 degrees in February and the trees are blooming, but I’m a winter baby and miss those softening, transforming crystals.
