In the PINK

img_4848

When my spirits sink,
I give a saucy wink
and don’t overthink,
because soon enough —
I’ll be in the pink.

My surgery is done,
and while it wasn’t fun,
my healing spell is spun,
and I’m glad not to be
back at square one!

Notes: Salmon-pink dahlias sweeten my last summer days. Their magic isn’t just for me,
they shine for all of you — but especially for those in recovery and for those newly back
in the PINK!! Woo-hoo to Michelle Marie, who’s recovered from a broken back, and her daughter who’s walking again! It makes my recovery from surgery feel minor, but I’m feeling in the pink, too. I never turn down a reason to celebrate! Join the party if you have a reason to celebrate, too.

  1. So glad you are in the pink. I lost track and thought you were on the mend, sorry about this lack of communication on my part. This was such a lovely shout out, too. I dropped by Michelle Marie’s posts to wish her well and healing.
Your photo of your daughter while 4 years old was precious this summer, Brenda. ❤
