Happy Red, White and Blue from the flowers!
Happy Poetry Friday!
Here is a poem of joy for you:
My Heart Leaps Up
My heart leaps up when I behold
A rainbow in the sky:
So was it when my life began;
So is it now I am a man;
So be it when I shall grow old,
Or let me die!
Read the rest here.
— William Wordsworth
May you experience the joy and magic of being with family.
Thanks to Tabatha Yeatts for hosting his week!
Stop by and read more poetry if you have time.
Hope you had a marvelous Fourth of July with lots of fun and celebration! I had a 46 hour work week up until July first!
I am happily enjoying Lake Erie, siblings, short 3 day trip/visit from oldest daughter joining us with Micah and Skyler over weekend.
So far, shopping, sitting, eating and going out on Mom’s balcony to see sunsets and sunrises~ mean I am finally “unwound!”
(Don’t want to think about how hot warehouse will be on July 11th, upon first 10 hour day back to work.)

Wordsworth encapsulated how I feel. It’s real skill to be able to be still relevant after so many years. 🙂

Thanks, Bridget! I traveled over the weekend, and I didn’t get much time to visit people, sadly. I’ll try to catch up now that I’m home.
