Tulips gossip downtown
in streets curved in frowns.
Too many people
walk dogs, legs lifting –
tulips don’t want a drink,
of that kind, I think.
One tiny tulip bud
bursts from the mud
and dreams he’s a bird
arrowing through clouds –
he sees the stars
and circles Mars.
Petals are wings,
so fast, a raindrop stings.
Soon he chases bees,
no more waiting –
he brings bees
to their knees.

Thanks! I was hoping it wasn’t too gross. My garden is a popular one for dog walkers, though, since I’m near a dog park. LOL

Lovely images and conversations! We spent so much time signing a petition, setting up a gun registry….all to remove it…it irks me so much yet perhaps we will still keep ours in Quebec. Although it is easier in US to purchase and I see the danger…big money is blocking this rather than logic. Good luck with the petition.

Thanks, Oliana. I do think these bans should be made permanent rather than expiring. It forces us to have the battle over and over, which works to corporate interests, not ours.

Millions of dollars to create the registry and with new elections the corporate ass kisser acquiesces…bugs me ’cause those are my hard earned tax dollars too.
