Snow showers
bury
spring flowers
deep
in icy cold
flakes.
Petals fold
droop,
shiver and shake
to wake
in winter heartbreak.

Note: The daffodils and I believed the last flake had flown, but the snow forecast wasn’t an April Fool’s joke after all. Happy National Poetry Month!
Winter heart break indeed Brenda😞

Oh Brenda, talk about season confusion…someone needs to talk to Mother Nature.

It’s still snowing, even in April. My sister just told me….
But, I somewhat like to see flowers and leaves partly covered with snow…that makes them more beautiful… 🙂

I adore flowers in the snow. Doesn’t happen out here often though. Today we are partly rainy and sunny, but on Thursday dare I say we will be 82 degrees.

Not here. Today the snow feels like ice.

Wow wow wow I love this. Poor chilly daffodils. I hope they are happy and warm now by the sun. I love the contrast of snow and flowers in this photo and your words always delight and make me smile! 🙂 Happy Monday! xoxo

It’s a good day for a cuppa tea and a quiet blog catch-up. I’m good. 🙂

Good to hear it.. I love rainy days too means I do not feel I should be outside when I can then catch up within the blog world too 🙂
