Ooooh… spun sugar trees! LOVE it, Brenda! The rhyming adds an element of comfort, I think… soothing to the ears and the soul.

There is something especially simply balanced, comforting and satisfying in the words, juxtaposed as they are with the image that evokes mystery and myriads of intriguing possibilities–complex. It’s a good tale you’ve spun! What could be more apropos that spun sugar on the day for love? Happy Valentine’s Day!
